When a child is facing a life-limiting illness, the entire family is affected. Pediatric palliative and hospice care can provide comfort, dignity, and support while helping families navigate circumstances no parent should have to face alone.
Yet families in Michigan do not currently have access to a dedicated pediatric hospice and palliative care facility within the state.
That is the need The Mitten Foundation is working to address.

Why We Fight
The Mitten Crusade started with a simple idea: take something we love and use it to help people who need it.
For two days, our battles on the tabletop become part of something much larger.
Every ticket purchased, every raffle entered, every scenario influenced, and every donation made during The Mitten Crusade helps support The Mitten Foundation and its mission.
We may be gathering to roll dice, paint armies, tell stories, and celebrate the Horus Heresy hobby—but the reason behind the event is very real.
